Attendees enjoyed a Friday road rally with track time at the Sandia Speedway, and a black-tie party on Saturday for up-close viewing of the collection. The display was also open to the public on Sunday. "We were happy to have some of the Melloy Dodge product line there, with the Charger and Challenger certainly fitting into the muscle car category," said Bill Melloy. "This annual event lets car buffs share the passion of some of the greatest automobiles ever built."
Proceeds from the event went to the Albuquerque Community Foundation, a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) public charity with a mission to serve people in the greater Albuquerque area. The Foundation administers a permanent community endowment made of large and small gifts, and uses the earnings from the endowment to make grants to other nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.
