And the accolades roll in. Two recent reviews of the Dodge Journey praise the sporty crossover’s functionality and fun.

Kelly Blue Book reports that “In terms of quality and design, the Journey’s interior is a cut above most, full of high-end features and clever storage compartments demanded by families on the go.” KBB’s testers especially liked the Flip ‘N Stow storage feature, Uconnect Touch 8.4 radio system, and 3.6L Pentastar V6 powerplant, which “we think is one of the most powerful, smooth-running and fuel-efficient V6 engines on the market.”

“If your growing family demands a vehicle with minivan-like proportions, but you don’t want a minivan, check out the 2013 Dodge Journey,” KBB reports. “With its available V6, 7-passenger seating and AWD, the Journey can handle most of what fits into a traditional minivan and still maintain its less-bland SUV-like appeal.”

Road & Travel Magazine reports, “Behind the wheel, we appreciated the pep of the V-6, paired with a six-speed automatic and firm control and solid handling that smoothed the driving chore without any sense of having to work at it.”

Road & Travel’s editors selected the 2012 Journey as one of its Top 10 Picks of the Year. They  concluded, “You get a lot of SUV for the money.”
