Dodge Charger AWD

10

Winter is on its way. Are you shopping for an AWD (all-wheel-drive) sedan? The Dodge Charger offers the most advanced AWD system in its category.

Available with either the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 18/27 mpg fuel economy – best in class AWD V6 highway fuel economy, or the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with 370 horsepower and Fuel Saver Technology. The Charger AWD package also features an active transfer case and class-exclusive front axle disconnect—the most technologically advanced AWD system in its class.

Sensing road conditions, Dodge Charger’s AWD system smoothly and seamlessly shifts between rear-wheel drive and AWD as needed—no driver intervention required.  When AWD is not required, the system automatically disconnects the front axle to maximize fuel economy.

AWD can also be driver-selected by moving the shift lever into the AutoStick mode (+/-) or activating the windshield wipers for an extended period. Drive mode, RWD or AWD, is momentarily displayed in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center in the driver’s display.

It’s that enjoyable and easy.  AWD is offered in the Dodge Charger SXT, SXT Plus, R/T, R/T Plus, and R/T Max.
