2013 Dodge Dart Reviews

Looking for an affordable small car? Come see the selection of Dodge Darts at Melloy Dodge, New Mexico’s #1 Dodge and Ram dealership for the second consecutive year.

The 2013 Dodge Dart ranked 9th out of 43 makes of affordable small cars, according to US News. Their ranking was based on an analysis of 29 published reviews and test drives of the Dodge Dart, and an analysis of available reliability and safety data.

The Dodge Dart is an all new design for the 2013 model year. It averages 25 miles per gallon City / 36 Highway.

Most reviewers liked the car’s customizable interior, crisp handling and roomy cabin.

The Dart has three available engine options that are standard with a six-speed manual transmission, and an automatic is optional with any of the engines.

Reviewers are divided on the base 2.0-liter engine’s performance, with some saying it isn’t very fast from a stop, and most others saying it will be fine for shoppers who don’t need a fast sedan. The next step up model is a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine that drivers say gives the Dart stronger takeoffs. At up to 27/39 mpg city/highway, it is the most fuel-efficient engine choice.

Ten airbags are included in the Dart, including knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, which is a lot for the class.

Nearly 50 Darts are available now at Melloy Dodge, with special pricing in February. Starting MSRP on the Dart is just $15,995.
