August is National Brake Safety Awareness Month

National Brake Safety Awareness Month is an initiative of the Motorist Assurance Program.

As we prepare to transition seasons from the summer to the fall and winter months, it’s a good time to bring in your vehicle for a brake inspection. You want to have the assurance that your vehicle is going to stop when you want it to! Melloy Dodge’s Service Department recommends that you have us inspect your brakes annually. If you start to notice signs like your brakes squeaking, your vehicle wobbling, excessive vibrations when you brake, or your brake light is on, you need to bring your vehicle into the Melloy Dodge Service Department and have us perform an inspection. The sooner you bring it in, you may be able to avoid bigger, more expensive problems. Don’t wait until your brakes are scraping or grinding!
