Dodge Hornet Coming Soon

We have some exciting news! The new Dodge Hornet is expected to arrive at Melloy Dodge in late 2022. The Hornet puts the sport back in the compact SUV. Small cars have now been replaced with compact SUVs and crossovers. These SUVs are preferred over cars because they offer good interior space, great fuel economy, and lower purchase prices. Typically, compact SUVs don’t have much power; however, the Hornet is different. The Hornet is its own breed of SUV.

When the Dodge Hornet goes on sale for the 2023 model year, it will be offered in two basic trim levels – GT and R/T.

GT: This impressive vehicle is powered by a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers at least 265 horsepower and at least 295 lb.-ft of torque, which makes it the most powerful gasoline-powered model in the compact SUV sector. The Hornet GT will also sprint from a stop to 60 miles per hour in 6.5 seconds while reaching a top speed of 140 miles per hour. These aren’t the only great features of this new Dodge; the Hornet GT’s MSRP starts at just $29,995!

R/T: The Hornet R/T features hybrid power, with a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline engine working with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a rear axle-mounted electric motor to offer at least 285 horsepower and at least 383 lb.-ft of torque. The R/T also provides a hybrid system that can go up to 30 miles using only electricity. The Horney R/T MSRP will start at $39,995.
