J.D.'s yearly rankings on initial quality rely on feedback from a study presented to individuals who have recently purchased or leased a new car. Participants provide their insights within the first 90 days of ownership. The study covers nine vehicle categories: infotainment, features, controls and displays, exterior, driving assistance, interior, powertrain, seats, driving experience, and climate. The study helps manufacturers identify common problems and drive product improvement by gathering data in these areas. This year, more than 93,000 people shared their opinions, making the study a valuable resource for the auto industry.

The high rankings of Dodge and Ram in the latest study are evidence of improvements to their vehicles. Dodge secured the second position last year, while Ram moved up from number 19. The year-over-year rankings boost affirms both brands' dedication to providing outstanding-quality vehicles.
