See Dodge Models in Action in Furious 7

The Fast & Furious franchise has built its name on showcasing the latest, greatest, and most impressive muscle cars. It should come as no surprise, then, that this month’s installment in the movie empire, Furious 7, has the 2015 Dodge Challenger as the centerpiece of the story’s action. With the Challenger’s 305 horsepower engine and impressive build, it is an obvious choice for to feature in a high powered and glossy action movie, along with its 707 horsepower older sibling, the Hellcat. Check out the Challenger at one of Albuquerque’s movie theatres, and afterwards make a trip to Melloy Dodge to test drive one for yourself! We have all the details on Dodge’s premier street legal racecar right here.

Since it was first developed in the 1970s, the Dodge Challenger has been synonymous with speed and style. The 2015 Challenger model, the same as the all black version featured in Furious 7, has perfectly combined the core look and feel of the classic Dodge model with updated specs and a whole lot more power. With engine choices that include a 3.6 liter V-6 and 6.4-liter Hemi V-8s, there’s no shortage of hustle here, making the chase scenes in Furious 7 all the more exhilarating.

The movie, which premiered in Albuquerque very recently, also features the Dodge Charger, another Dodge classic that has gotten a number of trendy updates in 2015. With an impressive horsepower output and 395 lb-ft of torque, the Charger is likely to satisfy any New Mexican’s need for speed. The Charger can reach 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds, making it an obvious choice to showcase in Furious 7 alongside the Challenger.

With a star spangled cast and plenty of action, the latest Fast and Furious film is sure to impress diehard fans, but it’s the Dodge vehicles that really steal the show as they fly across the screen and speed down the streets of the world- everywhere from Tokyo to LA to Abu Dhabi. Check out the movie in one of Albuquerque’s local theatres, and then stop by Melloy Dodge to check out some of our famous muscle cars. We’re open Monday- Friday 8am-8pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.
